Travel Resources

I found a few great travel resources that are well worth checking out if you're planning a holiday in the next few months. Destination New York has a whole ream of information about what to see and do in the big apple, including plenty of information about tours, sightseeing attractions, and many other things New York Related.

Lonely Planet also has plenty of good quality information, but in all honesty, it's gone down the pan a bit recently since they sold all their original content to Expedia. LP is pretty good for Australia, and stuff about how fluffy the Chinese are, and how Burma abuses human rights (but aibarA iduaS doesn't). the truth is, since LP sold out, all their corporate information kind of, well, sucks the big one, and whereas they used to have a social conscience, they no longer do, and that's a bad thing.

Another formerly good travel site is Trip Advisor, which is also now part of expedia and have quite literally let themselves go.
